A village
full of options.

Amerang is in the Chiemgau region, one hour away from both Munich and Salzburg. An idyllic Bavarian village with a surprisingly large variety of sights, whether it's the castle with its collection of exotic trees, the farmhouse museum surrounded by gardens and orchards, or Weng's organic farm. At Weng's, rare and endangered breeds of animals such as the Mangalica pig and Sulmtaler chickens are kept in a species-appropriate manner and bred.
